Expert Library Take-Down Policy

Part of the Terms of Service. Linked from every Expert, every listing and the Library footer. Last updated: 27 October 2026.

11.1 Who can ask

  • A Featured Person, for the Expert based on them.
  • Someone legally authorised to act for them, such as an agent, attorney or estate.
  • A channel or show owner, for material taken from their channel or show.

Copyright complaints can also go through the DMCA process in section 7.3.

11.2 How to ask

Use the “Is this you? Take this down” link on the Expert, or email help@wplaunchify.com. No account is needed. Tell us which Expert, who you are and how you’re connected.

11.3 What happens: instantly, then we check

As soon as you submit a request, the Expert comes down:

  • it’s no longer offered anywhere in MinuteLaunch, on any site or in the Library;
  • public pages showing it come down;
  • new sales, new grants and updates stop;
  • we stop using the person’s name or image in our marketing.

Then we investigate. The request notifies us straight away. We email you to confirm the request came from you, and review it within 2 business days. If a request turns out to be made in bad faith, or by someone with no right to make it, we may restore the Expert and tell you why. A genuine take-down stays down, and we won’t rebuild an Expert of that person from the same material unless they ask us to. We keep a record of every request and what we did.

If you’d rather stay listed and share in the revenue, you can join as a Partner instead. Claiming an Expert never undoes a take-down someone else made for you; we’ll contact you to sort it out.

11.4 Copies already acquired

A take-down works from the moment of the request forward. Customers who acquired the Expert before then keep it, with a notice saying it was taken down and gets no updates. 1WD doesn’t recall it. Every copy carries the notice in section 12: it’s an AI based on published knowledge, not the person, and not endorsed by them.

11.5 What this doesn’t cover

Experts a customer builds privately in their own vault are the customer’s responsibility under the Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. We’ll pass on a complaint about one, and act under the Acceptable Use Policy where needed.
